  1. Hey guys. Betty and I realized that we “may” have passed you heading North as we drove back from Louisiana. We spent the night of Tuesday Dec. 21 in Athens, TN. We came our normal route up I81 and who knows. Safe travels.

    • We were in Blountville, TN on Tuesday evening…161 miles to the north! I bet our paths crossed on Wednesday somewhere near Knoxville!! Small world!!!

  2. So great to “ride” along with you two once again on another excellent adventure….and journal ! They are always so incredibly interesting, informative, and full of humorous moments!! I sincerely think a book should be in your and Kit’s future. RV’ers espwcially could learn so much from you two on what to do and not to do on the road. Loved seeing the updates on your family! Such a beautiful family! …Thanks for sharing your trip with us once again…I always enjoy them so much! Please drive safe ….and Happy New Year to you both!

  3. Read your blog and happy traveling to the two of you. Where do you plan to end up? Just a funny note for you. We went down to La for my younger sister’ s celebration of life which was on the 18th of Dec. We left there on the 21st and spent the night in Athens, Tn. right off I 75 and between Chattanooga and Knoxville. We left there on Weds. morning and were up to the beginning of I81 at 9:46 am. So we must have passed y’all around 10:15!!!! Oh, if we had only known!!!!! Next year, we will have to coordinate our trips. Happy New Year and see you in 2023.

  4. Reed and I thoroughly enjoyed your traveling journal, if we ever take up this habit we know who to contact, you two are experts. Great pictures from you trip and of your beautiful family. We are back in California and it is raining buckets. Hope you don’t have to cross the border to find some sunshine. Happy and safe travels
